There are mountains to trek and hills to hike. A civilization as old as 2500 years with ancient and inspiring architecture. But that isn’t the purpose of this island, no way. Sri Lanka is not only about the beach and what lies beneath the brilliant blue waters. Its the people of Sri Lanka who make it special. Ever smiling, generous and always obliging. A race of people as old and wise as time. Kind, gentle and welcoming. A promise like no other. A land like no other.
